Highland Heather Lodges

Self Catering Accommodation in Crieff

Crieff Lodges with Hot Tubs

We have four separate Scottish lodges with hot tubs near Crieff, suitable for couples and families, and just a 13 minute drive from Crieff town centre.

Crieff is notable for being the second largest town in Perthshire and for a number of historic buildings that give this charming market town a real sense of grandeur. With the dramatic surrounding landscape of Ben Chonzi and Glen Turret providing a backdrop, it’s not hard to imagine what the town might have looked like back in the 18th century when droves of cattle, numbering in their thousands, would be herded into market by their rural keepers. Over time Crieff lost the cattle market business to nearby Falkirk, however, the traditions of the cattle drovers are kept alive by the Drovers’ Tryst, an annual walking festival.

In addition to the Crieff Visitor Centre (where you’ll find glass artisans Caithness Glass and a Highland Drovers Exhibition), the town holds a handful of charming shops including a traditional sweet shop and Scotland’s first public library. Just a mile out from the town centre you’ll find Scotland’s oldest legal distillery, Glenturret, where you can take a tour of their facilities and take home a bottle of their excellent single malt scotch. If you’re looking for a bracing walk with an excellent view, then try the nearby Knock Hill walk.
